This explains what information Match Fit Minds collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have. Match Fit Minds is a football learning service for children, used under a parent or guardian's account.

Who we are

What we collect about you (the parent)

Your email address, a password (stored only in scrambled form by our login provider), and your first name if you give it. If you subscribe, our payment provider handles your card details. We never see or store them.

What we collect about your child

A first name (or nickname), an age, and an avatar emoji. Optional: favourite position, preferred foot, team name, the kit and space they have at home.

As your child plays: which lessons, games and challenges they finish, whether answers were right, XP, stars, streaks and badges. If you use My Review, the reflections they choose about a match or training. If you add a schedule, the training and match times you enter.

We do not collect your child's email, surname, photo, location, contacts or microphone/camera input. There is no chat, messaging or public profile.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for: showing a child's progress, tailoring suggestions to their age and position, letting you review their reflections, sending review reminders you switched on, and managing your subscription.

Who can see it

Only you, as the parent. Reviews are never shown to coaches or other children.

If you choose to join a team, the coach sees only your child's first name and initial, an optional position group, and whether they have done the homework set. Never scores, answers or time spent. You can stop sharing or leave at any time.

We do not sell personal data and we show no advertising.

Services we use to run Match Fit Minds

Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting and cookie-free page-view counts), Stripe (payments, when switched on), and an email service (when switched on). Push reminders are delivered through your phone or browser's own notification service.

Analytics

We count simple product events (for example, 'sign-up completed', 'review completed') and the type of device. This is stored by us and never includes anything a child typed or chose.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous page-view counts (which pages are visited, country and device type). It uses no cookies and does not track people across sites. Page addresses inside the Parent Area are reduced to just the section name before they are sent. [REVIEWER: confirm this needs no consent.]

How long we keep it

While your account is active. If a subscription ends, your children's profiles and progress are kept so you can come back. You can delete a child, or your whole account, at any time and the data is removed.

You can see, correct and delete your information and your child's from the Parent Area, or email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children
